It Matters Logo

Recycling in America has become an increasingly important part of waste management, with millions of tons of materials recycled each year.

While recycling rates vary across the country, efforts are being made to increase access to recycling programs and improve education around proper recycling practices.

By recycling materials like paper, plastic, glass, and metal, we can conserve natural resources, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and support a more sustainable future for our planet.

Despite recyclings relative longevity we are still recycling significantly less than we are producing. Especially plastic products.
